Wedding in Rome, symbolic ceremony

INTIMATE WEDDING OF AN AMERICAN COUPLE IN ROME, SYMBOLIC RITUAL WITH BLESSING OF THE RINGS

We knew from the start that this wedding would have been different from the standard, from the very first time we got in contact with Paige and David. That day, we were positively impressed by the originality of the ceremony and the pleasantness of this American couple, who chose us at INESSE Handmade Photography as wedding photographer for their special day.

The place picked for the preparation and ceremony is a private location on the outskirts of Rome, Villa Profumo. In the lawn of the villa, Roberta ofMotif Floral has set up the place reserved for the ceremony with sweet and colorful floral decorations composed of roses, eucalyptus, lisianthus and other wonderful variety of flowers.

To distinguish the symbolic ceremony held by the celebrant Clarissa, was the ritual of the blessing of the wedding rings: warming ring. Friends and witnesses, holding a rope in their hands, formed a circle around the newlyweds. They passed the rings over to each other, holding them for a few seconds and making a wish or expressing a thought for the spouses. At the end of the circle were standing the witnesses of the couple, who last handed over the wedding rings to them to proceed with the traditional exchange ritual.

After a quick refreshment in the villa and before reaching the restaurant for dinner, we left for Trastevere. Here with the couple we went into the characteristic alleys of this neighborhood, sometimes involving tourists and passersby! The final destination of our wedding shooting was Ponte Sisto, where a gentle soft and warm light gave us the perfect set for some photos that will remain forever in the most precious memories for this young married couple.
