Wedding at The Odescalchi Castle of Santa Marinella

It’s October, but in Rome it can be a lovely time of year, as it was for the wedding of Fabrizio and Caterina, who chose us at INESSE as their wedding photographers. This enchanting venue, apart from its wonderful location, was chosen by the couple for sentimental reasons. Caterina is very attached to this area as she used to come here on holiday as a child, while Fabrizio often participated in sailing regattas nearby.

The Odescalchi Castle of Santa Marinella is the perfect location, close to Rome but at the same time far enough from the chaos of the city. Couples can get ready in the main rooms of the castle without any chance of bumping into each other before the ceremony, as Fabrizio and Caterina chose to do! The religious service took place in the adjacent Roman chapel, the Church of Santa Marina (known as S. Giuseppe al porticciolo).

The room was impeccably decorated without too many frills but with a refined choice of colours and references to the maritime theme so dear to Fabrizio.

For the newlyweds’ photos there are a multitude of perspectives and settings to have some fun with the camera, while nearby, friends and relatives take in the breathtaking sea view as they wait for the couple to begin the celebrations.
